In under 50 days, the eyes of the world will be on Paris and France as they host the 3rd Summer Games in their history, 100 years on.
With less than two months to go before the event, the Host City continues to put on the Games’ colors, with the Olympic Rings being installed on the Eiffel Tower early this morning.Â
With under 50 days until the Paris 2024 Summer Games, preparations are intensifying. The Olympic Rings were installed on the Eiffel Tower this morning, marking a significant milestone. Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024, emphasized the iconic nature of the Eiffel Tower as a fitting site for the Rings. The Eiffel Tower will be central to the Games, hosting events like beach volleyball, judo, and road cycling, and serving as the backdrop for Champions’ Park. The installation, involving ArcelorMittal and the Eiffel Tower Operating Company, required four cranes and about thirty people. The Rings, now adorning the Eiffel Tower, symbolize the upcoming global event.
