V. Cancellation policy and insurance

V.1 Rentals less or equal to 90 days.

Paris-Hospitality offers optional cancellation insurance managed by French Furnished Insurance. Cancellation insurance will reimburse you for the portion of your stay that is not used in the event of cancellation or interruption. You will also benefit from rental risk insurance, which is mandatory in France, for damages caused by fire, explosion or water damage.

If you would like more information regarding insurance, please contact us.

V.2 Rentals equal to or greater than 90 days.

The tenant shall be refunded a sum equivalent to 50% of the amount of the agency fee only if Paris-Hospitality is able to find new tenants for the same period and only if the cancellation is done before taking possession of the premises.

The tenant must take out a tenant’s risks insurance policy, which is mandatory in France, so as to be covered in the event of damage caused by a fire, explosion or water leakage. Paris Hospitality can propose an insurance policy to the lessee, however, the lessee remains free to select the policy of his/her choice. He/she must be able to provide proof of insurance at the lessor’s request.
